All systems go for charity event of the year!
City centre based charity, Manchester Kids, is set to benefit from one of the North West's must-go-to charity events of the year, organised by Ali Bishop client, Laura Swetman.
The Glitz and Glamour Ball, will take place at the Renaissance Hotel on 5th October and aims to raise over £10,000 for under privileged children in the Manchester area.
Ali Bishop who is handling the publicity for the event says: "I am thrilled at being asked to work on this event with Laura and I am certain we will be able to donate a substantial amount to Manchester Kids".
Manchester Kids charity fundraiser Michelle Grogan says this event will have a phenomenal impact on the charity through the donations received and the exposure of the event.
33% of young people in Manchester experience some form of domestic abuse and more than 1,000 children under the age of 11 run away from home every year. Manchester Kids aims to help children like these as well as those suffering from physical, learning and social difficulties.
The event, which has the backing of the local radio station, Key 103, promises to be a star-studded evening with local celebrities also declaring their support.
